GG Staterooms on the MS Noordam

I was in a G-cat on Upper Promenade. The difference between that and a GG is that mine is considered "partially" obstructed, while the GG is "fully" obstructed.

I don't remember seeing much (if any) water; the lifeboat did a pretty good job of blocking any view. But since I usually have an inside cabin I was thrilled to get daylight! I could see sky and had a good idea of the type of weather outside. Good enough for me!

The size of the cabin is pretty decent for a Vista class ship. The bed is placed on a forward/aft line with the couch alongside. There's room to move in front of the couch---which is opposite the desk area.

Anything in particular I can answer? Please ask.

I was in G-4055. I just had to go look at the deck plans to double check the # and looked yours up while I was there. Very nice location. :) You're ever-so-slightly aft of the mid-ship elevators. Go take a ride on the outside glass elevators!

And have a great time!

Sorry, I don't take pictures anymore. I have too many years worth still waiting to go into albums. No need to add to the pile, doncha know!

Check out Revneal's posts. He takes lots of pictures and has a link to them in his signature. He has some pics of that cabin category.

You'll definitely see daylight out your window. "Sunlight" is dependent on the sun shining. The lifeboat will be hung across a catwalk from your window---there is space between the side of the ship and the lifeboat.
