FOS-how long to debark in Grand Cayman?

Recommended Posts

Anyone who's been on Freedom Of The Seas or anyone else who can help: How long do you think it takes to reach the pier in Grand Cayman? I'm meeting Moby Dick tours there. I've read that passengers on ship sponsered excursions get off first. There will also be 3 other ships in port with us. We dock at 8:00am but need to be on the pier by 8:45 to meet Moby Dick for their 9:30am stingray tour. They do have another tour at 10:30, but we want to get out on the earliest to make the most of our day. Can we get off the ship that quick???

they will let folks, not on ship sponsored tours, take the very first tenders.

This means being up and ready. Touch bae with the tour desk and the Purser's office to ascertain if they will be permitting this on your sailing

The actual trip from ship to pier only takes about 8-10 minutes, if that! Depending on how fast passenger's board the tender will determine how long it takes to get going! (If you're in a line with some really old or infirm folks, it can take a while to load them)
