East Coaster Posted April 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2007 Have you ever booked before on sky auction? Is it a reliable site? Also, how did you get 2 rooms when the quantity says 1 only? Thanks for your help. We would need 3 rooms in November.
rickwebste Posted April 24, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted April 24, 2007 No we have never booked with them before. I just got off of the phone with the Holiday Inn and confirmed my reservations and that they had already been paid for. I had to win 2 seperate auctions to get the 2 rooms. Hope this helps. East Coaster Posted April 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2007 Thanks, rickwebste. Does that mean that after you bid for the first auction and secured the room, another auction was available? I saw that only 1 room is available and we would need 3 rooms or even 2 at the auction price then its not so bad paying full price for the third. This is all new to me so I really appreciate your help.
rickwebste Posted April 25, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted April 25, 2007 Hi, yes a new auction starts right after one ends. The normal rates are approx 149 to 179 per night plus tax as far as I can tell. You can go to the Holiday Inn San Juans website and look at the rate calendar.
