August Cruisetour - What to wear on land - temps?

Hi - We're on a cruisetour this August - first two weeks. We're doing the land first. I know what to expect on the cruise part as we've done that before. Can you tell me what to expect on land? Shorts? Hiking pants? Fleece or nothing? Or all of the above? Average. I realize that highs and lows will vary - but what do most of you find. THANKS.
