MichCook Posted April 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2007 I have a kodak digital camera that takes both video/still. Can't find a website that supports uploads in .mov format. Kodakgallery doesn't even support it! Thanks for any help you can provide.
Rare pierces Posted April 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2007 I just uploaded a .MOV file to Picasa Web Albums. Worked fine. Take a look and sign up. http://picasaweb.google.com/pierce324/Movie BTW Picasa is the best indexing software I've come across at any price...and it's free! Since it's an Apple Quicktime format, I suppose most sites just don't want to pay whatever Apple wants to license the codec. Dave
bruce-r Posted April 27, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2007 http://www.apple.com/dotmac/ does. If you have your own web space, you can host anything you want. That is what I do. Youtube.com Since it's an Apple Quicktime format, I suppose most sites just don't want to pay whatever Apple wants to license the codec. I don't think that is the case. I think it has more to do with bandwidth.
