Best time to visit Italy?

Recommended Posts

Both dates you propose would be good. I'd choose April over early June because the further you are from the main tourist months, the less crowded it will be. April weather should be great; June will definitely be warm, if not downright hot.

Having lived in Italy for three years, I'd opt for May or early June (probabky leaning towards the later part.) Cool to warm, but not hot. Crowds are less. Prices tend to be a little less (though probably not significantly.) Great time of the year to be over there.
