RCCLismyfav Posted May 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Are there other hotels or B&B's and places to eat near Denali? If so how far away?
Yukon Posted May 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2007 There are a dozen or so side-by-side near the park gates and many more within 20 miles.

RCCLismyfav Posted May 6, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted May 6, 2007 Yukon and BQ can you recommend any of the hotels or B&B, and places to eat that have reasonable prices?
Budget Queen Posted May 6, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2007 I have stayed several times at each- Touch of Wilderness B&B and Denali Park Hotel (when I'm looking for the bargain :) ) I like the Perch and farther in Cantwell, the Lazy J. Cabin Night theater is worth it with a toursaver coupon, but I pass on paying full price. :)

I probably like the Perch the best. http://www.denaliperchresort.com/9.html There is a Subway right in Glitter Gluch, also Bubbs Subs which are also good. fti Posted May 7, 2007 #8 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Yukon and BQ can you recommend any of the hotels or B&B, and places to eat that have reasonable prices? I have stayed at McKinley Creekside Cabins just south of the park a couple of times. They have a decent restaurant with reasonable (for AK) prices. Some cabins also have a kitchenette if that interests you.

fti Posted May 8, 2007 #10 Share Posted May 8, 2007 Do you remember what the price was? What time of the year did you stay there? They have various prices depending on which type of cabin you like. I was there in September one year and June another year. You can check out their website at www.mckinleycabins.com
