Noise question

I hope that someone can help me kinda quickly in this matter. My wife, daughter and a friend of each of theirs are going to be sailing on the Glory 8/11/07. I have them booked in 2 inside cabins on the Empress Deck but I now se that 2 Ocxean View rooms with connecting doors are open on the Main Deck. We recently sailed on the Glory in March in connecting Ocean View rooms on the Main Deck but we were under thepurseres desl area so having noise from above us wasn't an issue. These rooms are Main deck 2242 & 2246. They are directly under the Platinum Dinning Room. In the past my wife has sailed on the Fasination and stayed under one of their dinning rooms and said that the nosie from them seting up and taking down from the meals kept her up most of the night. Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms or anywhere close by them? I'd like to know what if any the noise situation will be before I try to up grade them Thanks in advance for any help,

Sorry Jim, can't help with this one personally. We've never had a problem with noise. Guess we're just heavy sleepers.

Never had a problem under the main dining rooms...they are carpeted.
