I am trying to stay a night on the beach when we get back from our cruise. The Marriot Beach seems to be really pricey but I think I have identified the Pelican Beach Resort on Hotwire. Can someone who has been there please give me a rundown on the hotel and surrounding area. I have been reading a few reports and it sounds like it is tucked away from other things but we will have a rental car. Also sounds like a place where people go with kids but we are staying on a Sunday night in late September so I wouldn't think there would be many kids.
