Pearl Freestyle Dailies

Hi 7Seas!

Enjoyed reading your thread this week. How's the ship? How rough was it out there on your journey back to Seattle? This will be our first cruise...we will have the patches for seasickness...We leave Seattle on July 8th.

Do you think something is wrong with the Pearl or was everything pretty much normal. Would you sail the Pearl again? It sounds like a gorgeous ship with lots to offer...after reading about it on the NCL board...but is it "sailing" well? Up to par with other ships you've been on?

Thanks for your information.

There's nothing wrong with the pearl. We had rough seas once but that was because the winds kicked up and the sea swells were up to 13'. Those in forward cabins felt it more than those of us aft. I was at the stern so felt little.

I do have some neat photos of the ship's roll when I was trying to pack. The ship would roll to the port side enough to cause doors and drawers to swing open.

Never bothered me other than to stand wide-legged every so often. The cruise was great. Expect weather.

I have most (if not all) of the dailies. Anybody want them. I think someone asked in my Live From The Pearl thread, but I can't remember who asked.

Thanks Ginny, I can't wait for you to post them! :)
