Clarion Suites - Anchorage ?

Has anyone stayed here? I see it is downtown, is it in a decent location? I checked the rates for Aug. and it was about $109 (before taxes) for those over 50. Which was much better than Comfort Inn. Just trying to get a back up room if Priceline doesn't come through. Thanks!

The Clarion is in a good area downtown. Only a few blocks from a large shopping mall, gift shops, and eateries. Nice place, about 5 years old.

Does it have a restaurant? If we are going to be getting up early to take the train to Seward, we would really like to get a good breakfast, not just a continental breakfast, before we go.

I don't recall that there is a restaurant at the Clarion. It is just a few blocks from the Marriott, which has one.
