Brooklyn Red Hook Pier Hotels

Where to stay night before cruise that leaves Brooklyn Red Hook pier? :)

The closest full service hotel is the Brooklyn Marriott. There are a number of less than full service hotels-fairly new close as well, a comfort inn and a holiday inn express near the pier that are in industrial neighborhoods...on Union and Degraw Streets. There is also a motel very close to the entrance to the Pier but I wouldn't stay there except as a last resort. Finally there are a number of small B and B's in the neighborhoods that surround the pier. These would be in Park Slope, Carroll Gardens or Boerum Hill.

You could always stay in a hotel in lower Manhattan. You would just have to have transportation to go over the Brooklyn Bridge to get to the port. Sometimes you can get a good deal on hotels near the Financial District.
