Richard Stein Posted May 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2007 Lorraine Artz who recently turned 80 was appointed godmother of the Royal Princess in Santorini. Per Travel Weekly She was on the Royal when they asked her. She said "I started to cry, like most women do. I' honored and thrilled" Many of us remember her from the old Royal where she called home for 17 years. She spend 10 months a year on a Princess ship and has over 10 years of time on Princess. Congrats from all us. She is a celebrity to those who have met her. Perhaps she is home again on the new Royal Princess.

Plant Posted May 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2007 Here's the link to the press release: http://www.princess.com/news/article.jsp?newsArticleId=na886 I think this is wonderful! Instead of having some "star" as godmother, they chose a "real" person. I hope to be like Lorraine when I grow up :) .

Congratulations to Lorraine......we met her and Joe on our Dawn Princess (the original Dawn) 1989 cruise in Eruope. She is a worthy "godmother"....:)
