Discounts Amadeus vs. Viking

I would like to give Amadeus a Go.

 

I always am getting discount mailing from Vikings (2 for 1, $500 per cabin, etc)

 

Looks like Amadeus early booking discount is a great big 5%.

 

Anyone with experience on Amadeus discounting from brouchure?. I have liked both my Viking trips todate.

How do you get the 2 for 1 on Viking? Is it only if you had traveled on Viking before or limit to certain weeks?

I have never cruised Viking before but signed up for their specials. When the ship isn't selling well (and closer to sailing date), they run some great promos such as 2 for 1 or airfare specials. You don't need to be a repeat person - just sign up to get email and snail mail specials on their website.
