we are looking to go to bayonne a day early and stay at a hotel that has shuttle to port liberty. this way we can get a good night's sleep and get shuttled to the pier by noon the next day. any input will be greatly appreciated.. thank you ---Mr & mrs Phish Tales :) :) :)

There are no real hotels in Bayonne, and to my knowledge no hotels in the area have shuttles to the piers. Cruising in the NYC is considered a niche market and not enough revenue to make it worth it. I would suggest going to the 'East Coast Departures' thread and reading up on everything there. My personal recommendation would be to look into Jersey City, Doubletree, Hyatt, and then take a taxi.
