Water&Soda

Does anyone know how much soda and water you can bring on board. We are going on the Victory on 10/2 and I was just wondering if we can bring it on board in a cooler bag?

There seems to be no set amount. I believe Carnival's official policy is you may bring a "reasonable" amount. I brought a six pack of diet coke with no problem. From reading others' posts here, it seems that what is "reasonable" is completely arbitrary and up to the security guards.

On our Victory cruise each of us carried on a 12 pack of pepsi products. There was 7 of us in our party

On our Pride cruise, I took 2 cases of Diet Coke and 12 sports bottle sized of bottled water. It was checked in our roll-on cooler and we had no problems.

I usually bring a box labeled with my cabin number full of water and perhaps one bottle of soda.
