ritak Posted June 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2007 When I booked our cruise last evening, the agent suggested cabin 1388 on EOS. I've never had a balcony before, but now after looking at some photos, I am concerned that you can't see much from this corner. When you see pictures showing the back of the boat, it seems like this balcony is only a sliver compared to the ones next to it. Actually, it looks like half a balcony-is this just an illusion? Do I need to be worried?
weechloe Posted June 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2007 These corner aft cabins are my favourite. I always to get them first. New Year's Eve on the Mariner we have our first hump cabin but I am wait listed for an aft. Enjoy the view.
serene56 Posted June 17, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2007 1388 and 1688 are the two most sought after cabin on this class of ship. I dont know where you are seeing that the balcony only looks like a sliver unless you are comparing it to the suite balconies located back there. here are Bonnie Voyagers photos: http://travel.webshots.com/album/48328219CtbGLi?track_pagetag=/page/photo/travel/cruises&track_action=/ViewActions/FullAlbum you will want to look at Voyager/MAriner/Explorer and Navigator 1388 or 1688 as these will all be about the same
ritak Posted June 17, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Thank you so much for the information! I feel much better now. And yes, I guess it was because I was comparing it to the others back there-I didn't realize they were suites. Thanks again for putting my mind at ease. Happy sailing!
