Captain change on Triumph

This is interesting.... When I was on the Triumph in January - the casino manager was leaving to go to the Legend. He was to debark at Grand Cayman and the new manager was to board there. Unfortunately we missed that port - so he had to stay on until we got back to Miami.

Is it normal for the Captain to be changed during a cruise? Were on Triumph 23rd to 30th and Captain was changed during Grand Cayman stop. Seemed peculiar to me.

That did seem to be a bit strange. Do you think it may have been related to the emergency air evac on the Sunday before?

Did you write a review? I'm anxious to hear about everyone's experience on the Triumph as we are sailing her in October.

When we were on the Victory, in January, our captain got off in Jamaica and a new one took over. That was our last port and we were heading back to Miami, anyhow. It wasn't due to an emergency - the CD told us about it during that nights show - I forget why he left, though. He either was going on vacation (whatever they call it after working for a couple of months and then being done) or he retired, I can't remember which. That was my first cruise, so I din't know that was something that was unusual. I remember my Mother saying she thought it was kind of strange, but I didn't think anything of it until now.
