Italian restaraunt in Fairbanks

A while back, someone mentioned a great Italian restaraunt in Fairbanks. The search function isn't working right now, so I'm having great difficulty in finding the thread.

What is the name of this restaraunt? My new husband and I would like to go out for a nice meal and he LOVES garlic.

Thanks!

I live in North Pole and work in Fairbanks (they are about 20 miles apart) the best Italian resturants in Fairbanks are Gamberdella's and Geraldo's, Geraldo's is famous for garlic (yummy) but Gamberdella's has a better atmosphere and is in walking distance to downtown so after dinner you could walk around downtown and see the sights. If you need any other info about Fairbanks you can write me at tinydancer21@yahoo.com, I was born and raised here and used to work for Princess Tours.

Turtle Club is one of the most popular resturants for the local, they are famous for their prime rib, not italian though.
Chatinika Lodge is cool but if you don't have a rental car it's a pretty long drive.
If you do choose to eat at Geraldo's instead of Gamberdella's make sure they take you to the one on College road, not the new one on Airport Road. The one on College is the original and way better. The one on Airport is O.K. but the atomosphere is not as good and the resturant is small and can get really hot in the summer.

BTW: In case anyone is wondering if I'm a reputable sorce of info. about Fairbanks, I think I am I'm second generation Fairbankian, my paternial grandparents came to Fairbanks in 1950, my dad was born and raised here as was I. My mom was born and raised in Juneau, and so was my maternal grandma. Plus I worked for Princess for almost two years, granted I worked for Priness almost five years ago, but I work for the local government now so I'm still in the know.
