Final Payment - Room Availability

We have some additional relatives that would like to join us on our October Crown repo cruise. Currently the less expensive rooms they are interested in are waitlist only, from those of you that are Princess pros, how much availability opens up as we approach final payment in the next three weeks.

 

Should they waitlist now, or just wait and see what happens after final payment?

If the ship is already waitlisted, get on the list. Never hurts to get on the waitlist...they only offer it to you, you don't have to take it if you don't like the price.

certainly get on the waitlist. it pays to check various online sites for availability every day, too. check more than one, beause some agencies will have group space that is not available to other agencies.

100 days to go and BIL is waitlisted for a category J and is number 10. There are about 80 in that Category and final payment is not due for about three weeks.

he should ask to be waitlisted for all inside categories to increase the chances of a match being made... dont just limit yourself to cat j... like a couple posts above if a match is made and he doesnt like the price then he can just decline it....

Lately, I've been waiting until after final payment to book our cruises. But I don't have a particular cruise in mind. Last year I was watching a few. The price of one went up after final payment but the other one's dropped.

 

Waitlisting seems to be the way to go since your relatives want to be on the same cruise with you.
