Amerisuites on 10th will allow you to park your car and has a shuttle. WHen returning, you will probably want to take a cab back. They are not real prompt in picking you back up.

Amerisuites no longer offers that service, they charge $12 a day (the same as the port charges for secured indoor garage parking).

The LaQuinta in Hollywood, Hampton Inn in Plantation and the Comfort Suites in Davie all allow you to leave your car while away on your cruise if you stay one night with them. ;)

ComfortSuites now requires a night before and after the cruise for free parking. One night stay results in a $10/day parking charge. :(

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like free parking will eventually be a thing of the past at all of the area hotels. Between taxes and the outrageous premiums for windstorm insurance the hotels are looking for additional revenue anywhere they can get it from. :o

we live in St Augustine and drive to Ft Lauderdale to take cruises, Embassy Suites Hotel still allows you to park your car at the hotel if you stay there the night before your cruise. The fee is $9.00 per day...Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale, 17th St.......1-954-527-2700, they have a shuttle ...if you are interested in leaving your car with them mention "cruise package" when booking, BUT HERE IS THE CATCH......they only take you to the pier, when you get back you have to get a cab or find a way back to the hotel and that is not advertised as part of their "cruise package", so beware. We have not stayed with them so cannot tell you what the hotel is like, but we did have a room booked and after reviewing our paperwork we realized when we returned from our cruise, we had no shuttle back to the hotel and this has been verified again today before I posted this message.

Not sure any of the hotels will shuttle you from the port back to the hotel.
