15% on wine?

No.. the 15% change is added to the cost so a $40 bottle ends up costing you $46

 

If you think this is bad, try being on a 14-night cruise (Cunard) where all prices onboard were in Pounds Sterling! Wine plus 15%! We decided to ingore the pound symbol and pretend they were $ and didn't even look at the final bill (too closely!). GBP's we're $1.80 at the time - not a good exchange rate!
