Port Everglades to West Palm Beach

:confused: Does anyone know if there is a shuttle from Port Everglades to the West Palm Beach Airport? If not, does anyone have any idea what cab charges would be...the airport is approx. 40 miles from the cruise port.

pink, no shuttles from Port Everglades to PBI. Best bet would be to rent a car. You can pick one up at FLL for a lot less then a cab ride. No one-way drop off charges either. ;)

We rented a car one time, though it is a hassle taking a cab to the FLL airport, hauling luggage on and off the shuttle in FLL and when you drop off the car in West Palm, plus navigating the highways. You could drive up to the check-in, drop the luggage, then return the car, but that can take a lot of time, also.

 

The last time we hired a Lincoln towncar/driver through Infinity Transportation. Picked us up right at the cruise terminal and dropped us off at the airport check-in. Excellent service, professional and courteous driver. No shuttle and luggage hassles.

 

Rental car is certainly cheaper, but if you get into a time crunch, returning a car and having to ride the shuttle can burn a lot of time.
