Spirit Cigar Room still a smoking room?

Wife & I hope to book the Spirit's repositioning cruise from NYC to NO this November. We've sailed on her before and it's our favorite means of transportation 8}.

 

Do any recent cruisers know if the Smoking Room on deck 12 (starboard by the Galaxy Room) is still a cigar room? What with the implacable march of political correctness, it seems prudent to ask beforehand.

With NCL's new non smoking rules, changing it would be a crime. :eek:

We want you to be comfortable on board, so public areas throughout all NCL ships are smoke free. If you smoke cigarettes, you can do so in your stateroom, on your balcony, in the casino or Cigar Bar (where available). If you prefer pipes or cigars, you can smoke in the Cigar Bar or designated smoking lounge. Also, you can smoke cigarettes, pipes and cigars outside on open decks (just not around food venues, sport decks, kids’ pool areas and other designated non-smoking areas).

It was still a smoking room when I was on the Spirit last month.

I can't say for sure on the Spirit but on the America Pink's cigar lounge is no longer a cigar lounge because of the new rules.

We just got off two days ago and it certainly was still a smoking lounge! You'll have a great time on the Spirit - what a great ship! :D
