What a great review of a wonderful cruise. I love your positive attitude and wish you were coming with us on our cruise too! WE LOVE the Majesty, think she is a great old ship, love the food, the entertainment, the casino (never win though) just about everything I can think of. We'll be going to Bermuda on the 26th of August and can't wait. THANK YOU!

You're welcome! I wish I was going with you too. I guarentee I'd dance every dance and hug all of the crew!

We'd all have a great time!!

You & I both love the Casino!! Hugs to Rean & Karen. Here's my Casino tip so it's doesn't pinch quite so much. I start tucking away $1's or $5's in January in my "Secret Pocket" just for the cruise and by the time I'm ready to sail I feel as though I have "Found" money.

Now if the dream would take over the Charleston route, I would book in a heartbeat, even with the same western itinerary!

If I wasn't going on a cruise in less than a month, I would book the majesty again in feb, but alas even though it is a good value, I am not made of money:D.

Great review. So glad you had such a good time. Next year we should try to book the same week so we can line dance. What dances did you teach? Did it rain every day?

Hi Nomie,,

I wish I was going to Hawaii with you. There'd be a whole lot of Line Dancing and new friendships made! We were there a few years ago on the NCL Star. What a great trip! I'd love to visit Kiribati again.

I noticed "The shy one" next to your name. That caught my eye because Dancing completely transformed my personality from "Shy" to "Dance Like Nobody's Watching!" It's a wonderful place to be and that's the "Magic" of dancing. Every ache and pain and care in the world disappears when the music starts!

My dream is to teach Line Dance on a cruise ship...and help other people feel that good!

It didn't rain everday in Bermuda...only a couple and the rain didn't stop us!

I taught my new "Cowgirl" friends "Little Black Box" and they knew it inside and out by the end of the night! Boy did we have a ball. Other dances I had fun doing...Tush Push, Watermelon Crawl, Swingin', Cowboy Charleston, Unicorn, Western Cha Cha and a few I just made up on my own. Dancing to Amadeus was the best!! I bought both of their CD's and I am right back in the "Fireworks" Lounge when I listen to them.

The friends I made on the June 10th. cruise and I are having a get together soon and I'm very excited about seeing them again!

I wish you sunshine!

Mary

We've cruised Majesty and Dream twice each. Oceanview and inside staterooms on Dream are much nicer. Oceanviews have a nice sitting area, with loveseat and upholstered chair, right by the window. Main dining rooms on Dream are nicer, also, with the aft Terraces having nice views. The Italian restaurant on Dream offers a full menu, not just pasta, and has the best views of all--glass on three sides and above. Dream also has a bigger theater with better sightlines.

We enjoyed Majesty, but I'd say Dream is a step up. Both have undersized buffets given the added capacity after the stretch. Majesty has the edge in that Piazza San Marco offers wider choices than Dream's Pizzeria. Both ships are smaller than today's megaships and we've been pleased by the friendly service of the crew on both.

Hotspur, nice to hear from you again. We had a lot of fun meeting you guys last year at the meet and greet. Was that not a fun time. Typical of the crew of the Majesty to give us the use of the Boardroom and provide refreshments for our gettogettogether. I am happy to read how positive you are of the Dream. I really wanted to hear from someone whose opinion I know and respect. I am much more open to considering booking the Dream for next year to Bermuda. Perhaps we might see you or Misty W. ( Sunshine Mary) next year.:)

Good Morning Writeratsea,

The Dream is pretty much a definite for me next summer. I just put deposits down for my next two cruises while on board The Majesty. I liked not having to choose the ship or sailing date at the time of deposit.

I am watching the Gem to give to my husband Jack for our 35th. Wedding Anniversary in December and I am watching the Dream for next June.

Happy Tuesday!

Hi Mary,Yes I am kind of shy but not when I am dancing.:D If you get a teaching job on a cruise can I be your partner?;)

Good Morning nomie,

That would be fun! I've had a partner before...We team taught the class and it worked out well for both of us. She was a doll!

I love doing the research, I love working at home and I love working for myself! But...Today I'm going to clear everything, pick up my best friend and treat us both to a little fun in R.I. I hope the slots are lucky. Funny thing is though...Win or lose we feel like a million bucks when we get home!
