Ketchikan car rental??

Has anyone rented a car in Ketchikan and driven along the coast? Is it worth it?

yep a few times with Alaska car rental. Again a great deal depends on what you want to do??? Totem Bight is worth a stop with a rental car but most useful is for the ability to get to and hike Ward Lake and Preserverance trail. You can stop at Saxman Village- but take a tour- it was mentioned you can buy tickets at the gift shop?? Scenic driving both north and south- can stop at Wal Mart??
