Woohoo! I won my new bathingsuit!

Hello all,

I've never posted in this area of the board before, but I coudn't resist sharing my great deal. I just won a brand new with tags $130 miraclesuit on ebay for $41! Now I have to hold my breath and hope it fits.

My only other concern is that I read a thread on here that said a black bathingsuit will attract the sun, and I'll fry in the carribean...Is it really that bad? Does a black suit guarantee a burn? I'm not a small woman, so the black suit really is more flattering for me...

Thanks,

Michelle

Congrats! That is a super cute suit! Not sure about black attracting the sun (though I've heard about about black t-shirts vs white t-shirts...that you'll feel hotter), but I have 6-7 bathing suits, two of which are black in different styles. I have not ever felt more warm/hot in them than in my other suits. If you plan to be in the pool or on the beach, then it shouldn't matter, right? You'll be able to cool off in the water anyway!

Nice win! $41 is a steal!

Congrats on the great price on a great looking swim suit. It's cute and sexy. I have several black suits, I've never noticed being hotter in them than any other suit.

Enjoy wearing it!!

Daisy,

Your best bet is to look at the online sites for stores at which you normally shop. Find a suit that you like (or go to an actual store and try some on if you prefer) and then look on ebay or other sites with sales to get the price you want. I had heard about miraclesuit, researched, found this one which I really loved, but really didn't have $130+ to spend on a swimsuit. Low and behold, there it was on ebay for less than 1/3 of the price! :)

Good luck and happy shopping!:D

Michelle
