trish1c Posted August 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2007 Which Penn Station? There are two. One's in NYC & the other is in Newark, NJ. Once you arrive at "your" Penn Station, how will you be traveling to Cape Liberty?

trish1c Posted August 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2007 I'd budget at least an hour. W/o traffic you may make it there in as few as 25 minutes but don't count on that. It will also be an expensive taxi ride b/c you have to cross the Hudson river; you will pay the tolls, plus the driver's way back. Whatever train you are taking, can you take it to Newark Penn Station & get off & into a taxi there? It might be easier.
smeyer418 Posted August 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2007 I agree stay on the train or get off at Penn Station Newark and take a cab for about $30. Cabs from NY Penn Station don't have to take you and if they do have been know to charge $75.00 or more.
