Thinking of the Promenade Deck 7 or 8. Glad for any input. Does it matter if you are on the left or right side of the promenade deck? Was told you can'[t hear anything just can see what is going on.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We were on the Explorer, kids stayed in a Promenade room, deck 7. It would not matter which side you are on. We could hear music if they were having a parade, but those don't go on very late. It is lots of fun to people watch, great view. Just remember to close your curtains, the people across from you can look right in. We liked the rooms.:)

Hi Cheryl: Thanks for your help. Our travel agent booked us on the right side on Deck 8 and said we still could see everything that was going on on the promenade deck. Hope she was right. Did you do the 9N Eastern Caribbean tour? Any tips about things we should know about the Explorer? How is the food? Thanks for your help. Iris
