Jan T Posted August 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2004 Has anyone done this tour in Antigua? We have this scheduled through the Golden Princess in September. It states in the online brochure that they even ride out and look for whales/dolphins. Appreciate any feedback.... Thanks Jan T:)
lauracruzer Posted August 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2004 Hi Jan I have done the tour and as I posted earlier this year this was an excellent tour. We did see some spotted atlantic dolphins of the south coast of the island. However as per the other posts that have done this tour, it is not your everyday adventure tour. This is a fast paced exhilarating trip, real adventure! I loved it and I highly recommend the tour, excellent! lauracruzer
AllmanJoy Posted August 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2004 lauracruzer: Would love to hear more about your experience with this tour. I did a search to find your previous post--no luck. We will be cruising on the Sun Princess in October. I have pre-reserved this excursion and would love additional information. Thanks in advance. Jan T Posted August 24, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted August 24, 2004 Laura Thanks for your input. I'd love to know more too. I've always wanted to see dolphins in the wild. I hope we get so lucky! When you say fast paced, do you mean on the boat? Is it a very fast bumpy ride? We have a runabout and I"m pretty used to the bumps! But I've never been on a speed boat on the ocean. just wondering what it's gonna be like! Jan T:)
lauracruzer Posted August 25, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2004 Hi I went on the tour in march of this year. The boats are great in the ocean and the they are very stable however I did get wet on the atlantic side but this tour is advertised like that, and it was great.
