Seattle hotel near Pikes Place Market

We need help finding a hotel in Seattle. I want to stay within walking distance of the waterfront and pikes place market. Any info would be great. I just bought Seattle by Frommers and I've contacted the hotel tourism board of Seattle for info as well. I would however prefer first hand knowledge of a hotel for 2 adults and two teenagers.:o

Check out the Marriot too http://www.seattlewaterfrontmarriott.com/ it's right across the street fromt he pier where NCL and RCI leave. It's also at the base of the Pike Place Market and you can choose to either walk up the stairs or go through a parking garage elevator. It's also close to the waterfront and all the shops along there.
