helicopter in Juneau-times

We already booked our Orca Whale Watching at 12:00 p.m. Should we book the helicopter at 9:00 in the morning or 5:00 in the afternoon. We are booking with Coastal and they said that we will be back on the ship at 6:30. The ship departs at 7:30. Our only concern about the morning flight is that it may be foggy and we won't see much from the helicopter.

I would book the morning flight- there are NO guarantees on weather, and no way to predict. This then gives you some time to see Juneau in the afternoon before sailing then an easy walk back to the ship.
