Shuttle back to hotel near LAX?

Is there a shuttle we can take after our cruise, back to hotel near airport?

Who do I call to have this set up and would 10:00 a.m. be a good time if ship arrives at 8:00 a.m.? Were in a suite on cruise.

You can take a shuttle, a cab, or hire a car service. http://www.SuperShuttle.com offers both a car service and shuttle services, and you can book on-line. 11 AM would be the earliest I would book. After you book, call the SuperShuttle number and find a number you can call direct that day to notify them if your time appears to not be realistic (it depends on customs, how many ships are in port, etc.)

I have tried that site for shuttle. Am I doing something wrong, as it only asks what airport I'm going to? I want to go to a hotel I've booked near LAX Airport.

Book it as if you are taking it from the port to a home address. That works. Otherwise call them and do it by phone.
