Hampton Inn, Plantation FLL or Sleep Inn, Dania?

I currently have both of these hotels on reserve. Both offer breakfast and airport and cruisepier shuttles. They are priced about $45 apart. We won't have a car the night before the cruise. So which location would be better for walking to see sites, shopping and eating out. The $45 difference isn't making or breaking the decision. Any input out there?

We've stayed at the Sleep Inn but never at the Hampton Inn Plantation. Across the street from the sleep inn, there is a Publix grocery store and a few small restuarants. Walgreens is around the corner. I would assume the Hampton was more money??

They're both fine properties. The Sleep Inn is a mile and a half from the beach, The Hampton Inn is footsteps from ton's of shopping and dozens of restaurants.
