Question on Nassau

That's always a possibility. People cancel their excursion (or even the cruise) late in the game or last-minute.

You might also want to go to this website. See if you can arrange your dolphin encounter independently. (Not always possible since the same tour operators are serving the ship's passengers, too. But it never hurts to check.)

Try booking directly or go to the Trip Advisor website which has tons of useful information, including other excursion operators. I booked directly with several for our last DCL cruise, savings us lots of $ vs booking with DCL. In fact, for the ruins tour we took at Costa Maya, we had our own private minivan and tour guide. I'm sure there are some who aren't comfortable booking outside of the DCL operators, but we have had no problems.
