all my cruises, until this last one, were traditional....big difference on level of dressing up. i was surprised to see over 40% of the passengers did dress up to some level. even a few formal gowns. but all nights that were formal nights are now "optional" dress up night. even jeans are allowed...at least in one dining room. you will see everything from running suits to tuxes in the same dining venues.

as long as i cruise NCL, i can retire the dressy outfits i kept in my closest for the last 15 years...just for cruises.
