Le Pavilion in NOLA?

Does anyone have any experience with this hotel? How far a walk is it to the French Quarter? Are there restaurants nearby?

We stayed there last February and absolutely loved it. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous, the room was very nice, the staff more than kind and the peanut butter sandwiches and hot chocolate at night were a nice touch. I am trying to remember the distance, but it wasn't a long walk at all...maybe 4 or 5 blocks to the French Quarter. We walked it many, many times and of course when you get to the French Quarter, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. We were only there for one night, but thought that it was a pretty special place. Enjoy!

It is very nice. A few blocks to the Quarter, but not far. I stayed there about a year and a half ago and really enjoyed it.
