FLL to South Beach to Port of Miami?

We have a hotel booked for South Beach. I was wondering what is the best way to get from FLL to South Beach? Is it cheaper to take a cab or use a car service? We are cruising out of the Port of Miami the next day. Does anyone know how much a taxi from South Beach to the Port of Miami is?

A cab from South Beach to the port will be under $20 depending upon what end of South Beach you are staying on.

 

If you can get a good deal on a car rental, like $25 off hotwire or with a promo, I'd go that route. Even though parking will cost you $15-$20 in South Beach, you'd still come out cheaper than cabs and car service.

Thanks for the information. From what I've read it sounds like a taxi is going to run me about $70. I know it's more expensive I just don't want to deal with returning and messing with a rental car.
