Ft.Lauderdale Marriott airport

Has anyone stayed at the Marriott at the airport? Are there any good restaurants and liquor stores with in walking distance. We are doing a pre night. Thanks

there is no full service marriott at the airport in FLL, only select service brands Springhill suites and courtyard--which one are you referring to...?there is nothing within walking distance of the courtyard IIRC...there is a shopping center across from the springhill with a kmart and a few other things but i do not remember a grocery or liquor store.....

The Marriott Courtyard Airport/Cruiseport has an excellent restauant next door located in the Bass Pro Shops, Outdoor World Store. You can easily stop at a liquor store enroute to the port.
