Anyone who has stayed in Holiday Inn - Miami Port

We're staying at the Port of Miami Holiday Inn the night before our cruise in April. I called them yesterday and asked if they had a shuttle to the port and they didn't. How have you gotten to the port from the hotel? I'm assuming a taxi? If so, what was the cost? (It can't be much since it's so close).

We stayed there in April and took a taxi over. I believe it was $10 for the

4 us including tip.

:D No problem! Taxis are readily available right outside the front door. No need to call one. It costs a little less than $10 to the port. A very short trip. Don't worry about not having a shuttle. Now you can go when you please. Have fun.

If you join Holiday Inn Priority Club you have another hour in your room. Getting an elevator at checkout time was horrendous, but our check out time was one hour later. Also, there is a bus to a factory outlet mall if your wanting to shop. It was $5.00 return, the concierge gave us all the information. We paid $10.00 including tip to get to the port and there were lots of taxi's in front of the hotel.

 

Enjoy your cruise, it's a great place to stay.

We've stayed at the Holiday Inn..Port of Miami before.

Love the close proximity to the port.

We grab a cab to the port...inexpensive.

In the late afternoon,we walk to a Marshall's that's very close and in the evening, we walk across the street to the Marketplace ....lots going on .....shops and great restaurants...a wonderful relaxing eveing prior to your cruise.

If you have a "port-facing room"...you can wake in the morning and see your ship.....AAAHHHhhhh !!!
