Private Tour vs Princess Tour for San Garvasio???

Hello all. My husband and I are struggling to decide which is the better deal. Princess has a tour that goes to San Garvasio for $54pp. It lasts 2 1/2 hours, and is just the ruins, nothing else. I found a private tour that is $90 and includes the ruins, a drive around the island to "El Mirador," a dip in the water (weather permitting), and lunch in town. Is the private deal worth the extra $36pp? We are leaning toward Yes, but I'd like some feedback.

We hired a private taxi driver for a tour back in August and paid $100 for four hours. We did not do the ruins but got a great tour of the island and some beach time. Our driver even watched our stuff at PB while we were off doing our beach time. I would pick a private tour any day over an over booked ship excursion. Cozumel is beautiful, get out there and see it.
