Likelyhood of getting cabins nearby?

I'm new to NCL, but looking forward to our cruise!!

 

We're 2 couples and I was thinking about asking NCL if its possible to have our cabins located relatively close to one another. We both booked guarantee cabins and our rooms were assigned almost immediately after we booked.

 

Any advice on whether this would be received favourably? Am I wasting my time?

you could have booked connecting rooms or even balconies where you could open the divider. but you would have had to book those rooms, not a gty. to change now, you will be charged the difference of what you booked and what the new cabin is going for. you can even have your reservations linked so that cabins don't get moved.

It wouldn't hurt to call and see if they have 2 rooms available in your category that are close to each other. I called a few times to change rooms so I could be closer to our friends we are sailing with.

Like the previous poster said, you can also get your reservations linked together so they know you are traveling together.

Thanks! I did phone NCL and asked to have our confirmation #s linked so they know we're travelling together.

 

We're on different budgets so we booked in different categories and price is definitely more a priority than location!
