Legend sailing - Nov 4-11 (Long)

Great job Ohio! We will be leaving this Sunday on the same cruise!!! can't wait! What did you think of Roatan? Soem have said it is 3rd world...

 

We did the Victor Boddan tour of the island. So much poverty and some really rich rich looking homes.

 

We snorkelled at West Beach - I would highly recommend it. Lots to see, chairs to sit on, and easy access over the coral reef to get in. Lots of people selling on this island so be prepared to be bombarded with kids flocking their seashells and whatever they can sell....

It is truly a beautiful island. You won't find any mega jewerlly stores or anything on this island. Only little stands with the locals selling their goods!!

Yes, you can stay at the park. There is a shuttle that will take you to the ship when you're ready. We headed back earlier than others because we had spa appointments that afternoon. Some stayed to enjoy the beach. The ship leaves Roatan early though -3:00 pm- so they want everyone back on by 2:30. This was the earliest of all the ports we visited.

odd, our port times for 12/2 sailing indicate arriving @ 8 am & departing @ 5 pm? what time did you arrive?

We arrived at 8 so I'm not sure why we set sail early at 3. . .wonder if they'll change the time for your cruise?
