Ft Lauderdale Trollys/public trans?

Hi,

We're staying at the Amerisuites on 17th. Are there trollys or local tourist transportation in that area? I'm mainly looking for transportation to the beach & dinner. I'm looking for a Cuban restaurant for a person who has never eaten Cuban in the immediate area.

Thanks in Advance

You can catch the Sun Trolley in the Harbor Shops plaza next to the Amerisuites. It stops there every 15 minutes, Thursday through Sunday. Cost is merely 50 cents. It'll take you to the beaches and you can transfer to the Las Olas Boulevard Trolley. It'll stop anywhere you want and when your ready to return to your hotel you can flag it down from anywhere along the route.

Sorry to say there are no decent, authentic Cuban restaurants along either Sun Trolley route.
