Vision of the seas sailing to alaska.

I recently looked at a cruise calendar for RCI and found that vision is no longer in alaska she will only do mexican riviera this year. Why? She Always did well in the region.

I recently looked at a cruise calendar for RCI and found that vision is no longer in alaska she will only do mexican riviera this year. Why? She Always did well in the region.

 

We sailed on the Vision in November and loved her. I noticed the ship wouldn't be in LA in 2009 and see the departure port is being switched to the Caribbean...Santo Domingo I think. Don't know why Vision was pulled from the Alaska itinerary.

Rhapsody of the Seas will be taking Vision's place this year in Alaska. The Vision will be doing Mexican Riviera R/T's from LA this year, and in 2009 will be heading to Santo Domingo. RCI probably just wants to change the ships up a little bit...
