4X4 Excursion

We're on the 1-13 sailing of the Dawn. Can anyone provide any experiences, info, or opinions on the 4x4 excersion in Semala, DR?? Have asked in the port-o-call board, but have gotten no responses.

Unfortunately, I've never been and friends haven't been to this particular port (sorry for the lack of personal experience), but everyone who have done these say it is a blast in San Juan, Grand Turk, Costa Maya.

 

So whether you get many responses here, at least that may help in your decision just a little bit!

We were signed up for this excursion on the Dec 9 cruise, but we had to cancel the Samana stop due to a tropical storm. Sorry I can't help, but we were really looking forward to it, for what that's worth.
