carnival-2 uppers room

i booked an inside cabin on carnival. they asigned me m17 on the sensation. i have had a room near the front of the ship once before. when the anchor went out, it felt like we were being attacked. so, i called and was moved all the way to the back of the ship, M259. i was ok with this, as i like the bouncing from the wheels. however, i noticed that this room has to upper bunks to sleep a total of 4 people. is this room like a regular inside room with the addition of 2 extra bunks? can the 2 lower beds be pushed together to make one? and can you still lie in bed and watch tv?

When are you cruising? DH and I have a room with 2 uppers on the Imagination (still hoping someone will need the room and we'll get upgraded again! :D ) in about a month, so I could report back. But I'm sure someone will get back to you sooner. However, as far as I know, the 2 regular beds still convert to the queen/king configuration - the other 2 just drop down when/if needed. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong...

The bottom beds can be pushed together-.

I suggest that you dont push them together to utilize precious floor space.

With 4 people it will be tight anyways- keeping the beds against the wall with the upper beds on top will have the whole middle floor for walking space.

IF you do decide to push the beds together your floor space will consist of the area infront of the vanity-- thats all.\

May I also suggest an over the door shoe holder to keep the cabin somewhat organized. We did 5 people on our first cruise on the Sensation. (M247) the shoe holder kept my sanity.

Once the cabin gets clustered it will start closing in on you.

Now if your party is not sailing with 4 people-- this is all mute.

the upper beds wont even come out of the ceiling.
