Klein Bonaire On Your Own???

We'll be in Bonaire this March from 8am-2:30pm. Our ship doesn't do any excursions to Klein..... We have our own snorkeling equipment and I was wondering if we could get to Klein on our own. If so, how and where do we go.

We did the ship tour which was just a pre-schedule of the water taxi to Klein. We had friends who also took the taxi and just paid at the pier. The water taxi boarded right there by the cruise ship before the checkpoint to the town.

Klein was beautiful and very worth the trip!!

Is there a place to rent snorkeling equipment on Klein or do you need to get it before getting on the water taxi?

The taxi service ran a little booth with drinks and snorkel gear. I don't know if they were supplied because of the ship tour or if they are there everyday.

Did those drinks include beer/liquor, or just water and soda?
