thanks, merecat. My TA called FO and also confirmed she was leaving from Dover. Now to tie up loose ends to get there.

[Southampton Cruiser]

She is due to leave this afternoon but her time has already been changed from 3pm to 5pm and she has had no sea trials which is unusual after repairs. She arrived at lunchtime on the 4th (12 hours late due to wind which kept her in the Channel) and was always due to go today (Vessels in port originally said the 13th but was changed on the 5th to the 12th). Bon voyage! :D

Eventually left Southampton at 7.45 pm. About 11 hours to Dover.

I am pleased to hear that the Balmoral eventually left Southampton. I did go to Weston Shore to see if she was going to sail at 3pm but gave up at 4pm. At least it was a nice day for a walk along the shore.
