Anyone know anything about the new Seamiles credit card. Website says it can be used for any cruise, any cruise line and no blackout dates. Can you really save on a cruise with one of these point cards?

I think we've been had! After reading the fine print on redemption of miles, it appears that the miles required for each cruise are PER PERSON, not as a couple. Regardless, I still have the card.

You have to use them with their agent and sometimes they will beat the best price out there, but I always use cruise.com and they are uaually the cheapest. I have found that for mexico inside 3/4 day cruises they are pretty good. I was going to give a trip to my niece for her wedding and could have gotten it for $135pp for a 4 day cruise:eek: but then found out they didn't have their passports:( Oh well, I guess I'll just keep it for myself:D You can use it on any cruise line though, but just with their angency.

I just used 10,000 of our points to book our sept. cruise. it saved us about $140 off of our room. i am not complaining. LOL and when you book your cruise with the card you get 2 points for each dollar and when you use it onboard, for your sail and sign card, you also get 2 points. basically our last cruise got us the $140 off

Got it last April after sailing on the Carnival Victory. Already have about 14,000 points. Inquired about using the points to purchase shore excursions. The guy was pretty rude and told me I wasn't allowed to use my points for that. Then he told me I wasn't allowed to book anything with those points unless I went strictly through them. That isn't what we were told when we applied. :o
